It isn’t easy keeping your kids active. The Youth Sports Program (YSP) provides a variety of exciting sports activities for children and their families. We are a 501C (3) NON-PROFIT Organization. We are dedicated to the provision of extra-curricular sports and activities to support family involvement and physical and social skill development for young children. We have an exciting Male Involvement component, as many of our fathers support us by coaching various sports throughout the season and setting up the equipment for our games. Parents are encouraged to coach and assist coaches for games, practices and closing activities. The YSP encourages school involvement for all parents to support their child’s academic achievement. In this regard, parents are asked to show their child’s Progress Reports and report cards as part of the registration process, and on a quarterly basis. If the child falls below a “C” average and does not have “good” attendance according to schools standards, a YSP representative will touch basis with the parent within 3 months to monitor the child’s progress. If in fact the child has shown improvement in their attendance, grades, and/or behavior the parent and or guardian is allowed to register the child into the program.
